Frequently asked questions

Straight answers on delivery, prerequisites, projects, and the certificate — before you register for the six-month program.

Yes. Delivery is 100% online. You access lessons, labs, and submission instructions through the course materials pages and the learning tools the institution provides after enrollment.

The designed duration is six months, with four weekly modules each month. The format is self-paced with instructor support, so weekly hours vary with your background. Plan consistent weekly study rather than a single weekend sprint.

No. The program starts at beginner level. Experience helps, but it is not an admission requirement.

Basic programming knowledge is helpful and will make Month 1 faster, but it is not mandatory. Python is introduced in the first month. You should be comfortable installing tools and following technical instructions.

Python is the primary language. C++ fundamentals are introduced so you can read and write simple ROS 2-oriented programs. The goal is literacy for robotics stacks, not a complete C++ degree.

ROS 2 (Robot Operating System 2) is a widely used open-source framework for robot software. It helps programs share sensor data, commands, and long-running tasks through nodes, topics, services, and actions. This course teaches ROS 2 as a practical engineering tool.

Yes. Simulation is central: mobile robots, manipulators, RViz-style visualization, and Gazebo-style worlds. Projects are designed so you can complete them in software.

No physical robot kit is required to complete the certificate. Optional hardware can enrich practice, but assessments are based on simulation, documentation, and the capstone demonstration you submit.

After enrollment you receive the official submission channel (learning platform, repository, or upload form). This public website does not store coursework. Typical artifacts include code, screenshots, short reports, logs, and demo video.

The capstone is reviewed against required behaviors: mapping, localization, obstacle detection, path planning, autonomous navigation, and reaching destinations — plus documentation and a short engineering presentation. Rubric details are provided in Month 6 materials.

A Certificate of Completion is issued after you meet the published requirements, including the capstone. Processing time is set by the training organization. See the certificate page for the requirement list.

This website describes a Certificate of Completion for the training program. It does not claim university credit, government licensure, or professional-body accreditation unless your institution publishes that separately. If accreditation is added later, replace this answer with the official statement and the accrediting body’s name.

This static registration form confirms your application in the browser. When the institution connects the form to email, Formspree, or an API, staff will follow up with enrollment steps, start dates, and access instructions. Until that endpoint is configured, treat the on-page confirmation as a local success message only.
